Default Barrel Marking on BSA 22 Martini

Took the forearm off of my BSA Martini 22 and the barrel is marked on underside Jessops fluid pressured steel barrel. I though that BSA made all the barrels on their rifles. I though that my rifle was all original but, after seeing this it is i guess it is a mix master.

It is the type of steel used by BSA to make your barrel. It is often seen on their shotgun barrels as well. Your rifle is 100% correct.

Jessops was a subsidiary of BSA,and Jessop tools/BSA small tools ended up in the Sparkbrook Small Arms Factory ,adjacent to the Birmingham proofhouse and the main Small Heath factory.
