    Default No Maker M28/30 Sling?

Very nice condition sling. SA and SkY marked. Am I just not seeing the maker mark? Or are some unmarked?

All official Civil Guard orders should have both the maker's mark and year.

So, if I can not find one what does it mean? It looks authentic but at the same time it is in very good condition. Could it be a fake?

That sling was made by Åström for the Kotij.E. (former Sk.Y) in 1940-41. According to the paper work all of them should be Sk.Y 40 marked but I've seen only Sk.Y or just =S= marked slings and no date mark. Also, these slings should have been made from bark brown leather but still they were made from painted green leather.

These are the very last slings of m/30 pattern, all metal parts are made from cheaper tinned iron instead of Argentan.
