    Default Anyone have a C&R Llama or Star in nickel?

    Having trouble locating on on WTB forums. If you have one you wanna part with, let me know. I am a license collector.

    Most Llama and Star pistols with bright finishes are chrome plated not nickel. Late in production Star did use Starvel (nickel) but most of those would not meet C&R requirements for a few more years.I have quite a few Star and Llama pistols wearing chrome and even a few with nickel of course not for sale while I am still able to enjoy them.

    Thanks, did any C&R Spanish pistols come in chrome?

    Both of those in the photo are C&R and chrome, many of my chromed pistols would qualify as such...Chrome was used probably as far back as initial production in the twenties and thirties for special orders.

    STAR even had these strange ones too. Its chrome, gold, and blue!
