ID:	2337650 The elusive reamer as used on the sled deck and in the cleaning rolls. Inevitably any sleds captured and/or moved bits would fall off....so I am looking for 4 !!! normally they are marked or stamped too.
If any other collector has tools it would be interesting to see all the different patterns.

I find the Lewis Gun drum in the fore ground interesting!

Every problem can be solved through the proper application of explosives, duct tape, teflon, WD-40, or any combo of the aforementioned items.

A gun is like a parachute. If you need one and don't have one, you'll probably never need one again!

Why is it that 46% of the population which pay NO taxes, complain that those who do pay taxes, are not paying their fair share?

For the MG collectors out there is there anybody who could offer an accurate evaluation of a whole MG library? The manual collection consists of maxim .455 and maxim .303, vickers, Lewis and hotchkiss. Thanks.

Some imagery of the skeleton drill purpose DP/SKL 08. Although a little false on a battle trench mount she still looks good.

Like all good soldiers whenever the opportunity to make a fire arises, somewhere safe, what better wood than gun crates, carriage boxes and other non-essential wooden items. So all German boxes over 100 years old are understandably hard to come by!

ID:	3693163MG08/15 an incredible collection. I post the period imagery on the PHOTO ALBUM SECTION under German WWI machine guns. The 2 threads could be combined but that is up to the moderator.

Here is a latest purchase from France. The Ex-owner says it has 2 functions. It was part of the canvas covering for the MG cart pulled by horses but also served as an individual ‘environmental’ cover. It fixes with a single small rope to the front and bottom but allows complete access to the firing function. In a hurry it can be fired immediately and easily removed. It has markings and some stains etc but superb condition.

I find the photo of the 8 men standing (and w/ one kneeling with Lewis gun in hand) to be really interesting: of the 9 men shown, 4 have been awarded the Iron Cross (1st class). Must have been a group of pretty battle-hardened men.
